The Arlington Players is a nonprofit, volunteer theater company. Our mission is to produce epic and artistically challenging theatre by cultivating an environment of excellence and education for all of our members, volunteers, and audiences in the communities of Arlington County, VA and the greater DC area.
Since 1951, TAP has entertained over a generation with an array of musicals and plays ranging from contemporary comedy to Shakespearean classics and from Rodgers & Hammerstein to Sondheim. TAP also provides an environment for all members of the Arlington community to explore, learn, and become involved in the elements of stagecraft through arts education programs. TAP normally presents two musicals and one play each season, with performances typically taking place at the Thomas Jefferson Theatre.
