Parking

  • From Virginia: Take 66 East to exit 71 (Fairfax Drive) towards Glebe Road. Turn right onto Glebe Road South (Virginia 120). Go 1.34 miles, crossing over Route 50. Turn left onto Second Street, then turn left onto South Old Glebe Road. The new parking garage is located at the far end of Alice West Fleet Elementary School (115 S Old Glebe Rd) on the right. For those that remember, the school was built on top of the old parking lot. Please note there are two sharp turns, back-to-back, to enter the garage.
  • From Washington, DC: Take Route 50 West (Arlington Blvd.) to Glebe road heading South. Turn left onto Second Street, then turn left onto South Old Glebe Road. The new parking garage is located at the far end of Alice West Fleet Elementary School (115 S Old Glebe Rd) on the right. For those that remember, the school was built on top of the old parking lot. Please note there are two sharp turns, back-to-back, to enter the garage.
  • Once in the garage: You can park anywhere that doesn't note a "RESERVED" sign with the times of 6AM -11PM (the signs with 6AM to 6PM noted are good to park in). To exit the garage to the theatre, walk towards the big blue wall at the back and go left, you will see the stairs and elevators there. You can take either option up one level, then take the short walk to the theater lobby doors.

Auditions for Our Next Production are LIVE.

We are so excited to see your audition for Peter and the Starcatcher! All auditions will be held at Theatre on the Run, 3700 S. Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington, VA 22206.
All roles open.

Audition Dates

  • Tuesday, October 21, 2025: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 22, 2025: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 23, 2025: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Invited Callbacks:

  • Saturday, October 25, 2025: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (at Theatre on the Run)

What to Prepare:

Please review the audition materials below.  You will be asked to sing one of the three shanties with accompanying piano.  Pick the one that fits your voice and be sure to get into character when you sing!  

You will then be asked to read a side, choose from the available sides that fit the character you are primarily auditioning for.  If time allows, you may perform multiple sides after everyone in your group has gone once.

We’re looking to see that actors

  • Have comic timing
  • Can keep up with breakneck dialogue
  • Can generate rapport with scene partners
  • Can carry a tune (will work with MD)
  • Actresses trying out for Molly: need to hold their own against the three boys
  • Can transition in and out of character at the top of the show

SIGN UP FOR YOUR AUDITION HERE!

Please fill out the audition form to bring with you to your audition. The audition form is attached in the documents and in the drive.

Please be prepared to bring a headshot and theatrical resume (if you have them), and a complete list of any conflicts that may arise during the rehearsal/performance process when auditioning (a calendar is attached to the audition form). Rehearsals and performances will take place beginning October 28th, 2025, through February 25th, 2026. Please review the audition form for more detailed scheduling information.

Please arrive warm (in body and voice), or arrive early enough to warm yourself up/stretch onsite, and turn in your completed audition paperwork (printed forms will be available, if needed). Please wear appropriate attire that is easy and comfortable for you to move (and sweat) in.

If you are unable to attend the initial audition dates but are available for an in-person callback, you may email the producer, email Allison Gray-Mendes, for video submission instructions. Videos must be submitted no later than Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 9:30 PM EST. Please do not submit a video audition if you are not able to attend callbacks. You will not be cast without the production team having seen you in person at least once during the process.
